Irene F. Bustos, 85 a resident of El Valle De Arroyo Seco, NM, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Irene was born on December 8, 1940, in Espanola NM to Antonia and Frank Herrera.

She is preceded in death by her husband Cipriano Bustos. Parents; Antonia and Frank Herrera. Brothers; Lino, Abel, Robert, Marcial, Dennis, Sister; Erminia. She is survived by her children Cipriano Bustos (Bertha), Archie Bustos (Clarissa), Johnny Bustos (Anita), Evelynn Appleby, Joseph Bustos, Annette Pacheco (Lesley), Jeanette Romero (Matthew). Grandchildren; Victoria, Krista, Juanito, Celinda, Gabby, Star, Leo, Jeremiah, Jude, Ruben, Rayann, Aleesha, Derrick & numerous great grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Her son Archie was her devoted caregiver for 19 years, surrounding her with love, compassion, and unwavering support. His care was an extraordinary expression of family, sacrifice, and love. She greatly cherished time spent with her family and loved ones, holding those moments close to her heart. Their presence brought her comfort, joy, and peace.
