Horace Bustos

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Horace J. Bustos Jr., 59, a resident of La Mesilla, New Mexico. Horace was called home with our dear Lord on Monday April 10, 2023. Horace was born April 10, 1964, to Amelia and Horace Bustos Sr.

He was known to family and friends as Junior and Horacio. Junior took after his father and became a carpenter by trade. He loved fishing, camping, hunting, but most of all he loved giving his sister a hard time.

Junior is preceded in death by his parents Amelia and Horace Bustos Sr., brother Anthony Bustos, maternal grandparents Josephina and Ruben Lujan, and paternal grandparents Bersabe and Maximiliano Bustos.

He is survived by his sister Diane and mike Jimenez.

Named as Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Jimenez, Theresa Ortiz, Victor Lujan, Ronnie Bustos, Robert Bustos, Victor Duran and Norman Chavez.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 22, 2023 at 10:00 am at Truth Ministry Calvary Chapel in Arroyo Seco. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Santa Cruz.
