Herman "Joey" II Age - 18 - El Duen Mondragon

Herman “Joey” Mondragon II, 18, a resident of El Duende passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandma, Esther G. Villa; maternal grandpa/padrino, Joe Howard Martinez; paternal great-grandparents, Maclovio and Floripa Mondragon, Antonio and Tomasita Atencio; maternal great-grandparents, Manuel and Mary Montoya. Herman is survived by his parents, Herman and Georgette Mondragon of El Duende; brothers/sisters: Ashley Mondragon and companion Ben Serna of Hernandez, Freddie, DeeAnna and Jovan Baca of Hernandez; grandparents, Albert Mondragon and companion Kathy Martinez of Hernandez, Jose and Edna Montoya of El Duende and Diana Martinez of Española; aunts/uncles: Maria Montoya and Fred Baca, whom also raised him, of Hernandez, Jose Montoya and Amanda Atencio of Hernandez, Angel Montoya of Hernandez, Orlando and Isella Mondragon of El Duende, Debbie and Nick Sandoval of Albuquerque, Arnold Mondragon and companion Paula Valdez of Hernandez, Steven and Jennifer Mondragon of Alcalde, Veronica and Julio Nieto of Rio Rancho, Melinda Atencio and companion Juan of Hernandez, Gilbert Mondragon and Pam of Alcalde, Sabrina Mondragon and companion Joey of Española, Orlando Mondragon Jr. and Cassandra of Pilar; nephew, Tristen Serna of Hernandez; special cousins: Lorenzo and Stephanie Martinez, Meaghan and Ashley Baca; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Cremation has taken place. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial mass will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez. Burial to follow at the San Jose Catholic Cemetery in Hernandez. The family of Herman “Joey” Mondragon II have entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
