Henry V. Gallegos (aka) Hank, 79, a resident of Chimayo passed away suddenly on November 18, 2024. Hank was a four-year veteran of the US Navy. He was an electronic technician. He worked in Denver before coming to Espanola, NM where he was well known in the valley. His hobbies included reading, fishing and going to the mountains which he called "God's Country". He was a food connoisseur and cooked wonderfully for he and his wife Sennie. He was his wife's caregiver for 7 years until his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emilia and Ben Gallegos, one brother Robert and two sisters in law all from Colorado.
He is survived by three brothers, Charles, Randy, and Richard and a sister, Vicky. His children, Paul and Enrique from Idaho and one daughter Andrea from Wisconsin, and eight grandchildren. His immediate family in NM are his beloved wife Sennie, his five sisters in law and three brothers in law, his stepson, Earl, his stepdaughter Melanie, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren and many more loved ones.
Services will be at Holy Family Church in Chimayo at 8:15 am Rosary, 9:00 am Mass on Monday, December 2, 2024.
