Henry Pacheco Jr.

Henry S. Pacheco Jr., 64, a resident of Albuquerque, formerly of Rio Lucio, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 following a lengthy illness. Henry died faithfully knowing that his God Jehovah will resurrect him to life in a new paradise Earth. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Maria Pacheco; siblings, Carl, Emy, Patsy, and Elsie Pacheco; father and mother-in-law, Felix and Aurora Fernandez. Henry loved first and foremost serving Jehovah God, hunting, fishing and playing board games with his family. He loved providing, caring for and spending lots of time with his family, especially his beloved wife of 47 years, Endy. He loved joking around and giving those around him a hard time in a loving way. Even those whom he just met always left with a smile on their face and a place in their heart for him. Henry is survived by his wife, who he married in 1970, Endy (Endelicia) Pacheco; children, Henry Pacheco III (Margaret), Hector Pacheco (Estrellita “Star”) and Hannah Crist (Lance); siblings, Herbert Pacheco (Esther), Mabel Perea-Pacheco (Richard), Olivia Fernandez (Angel), Yolanda Pacheco (Fred) and all of his Fernandez family in-laws; sister-in-law, Sandra Pacheco; grandchildren, Derek (Antonise), Hector Jr. (Heather), Geno (Mandi), Brianna (Francisco “Kiko”), Ricky (Micaela “Mk”), Eric Pacheco, Nevaeh Crist and Jeanelle Lucero (Andrew); great-grandchildren, Giovanni, Analisya, Liana, Izaiah, Jerami “Enrique”, Ricky Pacheco Jr., Andria and Jenae Lucero, Jayden Medina and many more relatives and friends too many to mention by name, but  very special to him and held a very special place in his heart, you know who you are. Public visitation will begin on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m. Burial will take place on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rio Lucio Cemetery. The family would also like to ask that you please join them for a meal immediately following the burial at the Peñasco Community Center. A second memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1716 20th Ave., SE. in Rio Rancho. The family of Henry S. Pacheco Jr. has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
