Henry Maes

HENRY A. MAES, 78,  a resident of Santa Cruz, passed away of a brief battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Rufinita Maes; brother, David Maes. Henry was a loving companion, father, grandfather and friend. He was a man of many talents. He enjoyed gardening, traveling with Rosie and being in the outdoors. His real passion was his music. Henry was a humble man. He was willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his soul mate, Rosie Rivera of Santa Cruz; son, Henry Arthur Maes Jr. (Louise) of Pagosa Springs CO, Ronnie Maez (Dawn) of Pagosa Springs, grandchildren, Dominic Maez of Austin TX, Savannah Moore (Justin) of Bayfield CO, great-grandchildren, James and Kimber Moore of Bayfield CO, Vida Jasmine Maez of Pagosa Springs, CO and numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. The family of Henry A.
