Heidi Taylor

d. October 18, 2015

Heidi Mildred Taylor, a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend has passed on Sunday October 18, 2015 after a long and dignified battle with ovarian cancer.
Heidi was born on October 3, 1961 in Beverly, Massachusetts to Ursula and Charles Dickman.  After graduating from Colby College in 1983, she met her soul mate Don Taylor, and relocated to enchanting Los Alamos, New Mexico.  Don and Heidi have proudly owned and operated Don Taylor’s Photography together since 1984. There, they raised and celebrated life with their two children Luke and Hannah.  They embraced what life had to offer together; adventures in the Southwest, reunions on Cape Cod, and many camping, hiking and skiing adventures celebrating her love of family.  Heidi found immense joy in her children’s’ accomplishments and the wonderful people they have become.
Heidi is survived by her incredible husband of 30 years, Don Taylor, and her two beloved children Luke and daughter-in-law Katie, and Hannah and her Kevin, and of course Chip.  She is also survived by her sister Inga and husband Paul, and Don’s sisters Robin and husband Jerry, and sister Keri and Elise, along with a multitude of special nieces and nephews.  Her life was completed by Dana, Randy and their two wonderful daughters Lindsay and Sydney along with other special friends.
We would like to thank Dr. Carolyn Muller and her compassionate and dedicated staff at UNMCC.
An open house will be held in celebration of Heidi to be announced at a later date. The family of Heidi Mildred Taylor has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley. 505-747—7477 – www.devargasfuneral.com
