Heidemarie Gallegos

Heidemarie Gallegos , a resident of Abiquiu, NM, and originally of Bad Freienwalde, Germany, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021. She was preceded in death by her Father, Richard Franz Schirrmann; her Mother, Mary Magdelana Schirrmann; her Brother, Gert Schirrmann and her aunt, Johanna Flesch who raised her. She is survived by her three children Mariah Gallegos, Manulita Gallegos-Stauss & wife, Tina Stauss, and Michael Gallegos & wife, Emily as well as her four grandchildren Zane Stauss, Hailey Gallegos, Jessica Gallegos & Lillian Gallegos.

Heidemarie was a loving mother and caring friend.  She loved her grandchildren, spoiling them every chance she could. Heide adored her dogs and spoiled them nearly as much as her grandkids.  Heide loved to read and collected a vast library of books throughout her life. She enjoyed gardening, mostly growing roses. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. The family of Heidemarie Gallegos has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley. 505-747-7477
