Gusman Montaño, 84, a resident of Canjilon passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. He worked as a uranium miner, rancher and retired from the US Forest Service. Gusman is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Lou Montaño; sons, George and Nelda Montaño of Alcalde, Leonard Montaño of Espanola, Louis and Kim Montaño of Concord, CA; daughters, Teresa Montaño, Loretta Sullivan-Trujillo, Stephanie and Gene Conahan and Consuelo Montaño all of Albuquerque. He was blessed with ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; sisters; Juanita Garcia of Vernal Utah; Stella Martinez of Farmington, Della and Frank Ocaña, Carmen Trujillo of Albuquerque and numerous relatives and friends.
