Gunner Mac Anderson, 13, a resident of White Rock, NM. Born August 26, 2012, passed away unexpectedly on August 9, 2026.

Gunner had an adventurous spirit. He lived every day to the fullest, always spreading joy and having fun. Gunner was kind hearted and compassionate, willing to help anyone who needed it. Gunner lived with his family in White Rock and had numerous friends everywhere he went. He was active in sports, loved dirt biking, fast cars, and good food. Gunner loved his church family and youth group at New Beginnings.

Gunner was preceeded in death by his Tata Charles S. Ortiz and cousin Justus Christopher Baca.

Gunner is survived by a large and loving family, his Parents Robert & Heather (Ortiz) Anderson; Siblings Layla, Robert, Anika, Dashel, & Hayden; Grandpa Robert & Grandma MaryAnn (Garcia) Anderson, Opa Bill and Nana Lee (Maxey) Klebesadel; Auntie Frannie and Uncle Jay Ross, Uncle Lance and Aunt Mandi Ortiz, auntie Nina & uncle Jon Baca, Auntie Amanda & Uncle Thomas Dollahite, Ahbadee & Uncle Monkey McCoy. Cousins Aiden, Mia, & Uriah Ross, Hudson & Piper Ortiz, Lydia, Lenora, Liam, & Lyle Baca, Soren, Versailles, Aviv, Saoirse, & Odessa Dollahite, Mya, Bella, & RJ McCoy.

Gunner also leaves behind his Ohana The Burns, his Familia del Corazón The Garcias, and his brother in all but blood Ryan Krause; and an extended family too numerous to list (Anderson, Maxey, Ortiz, Garcia)

Gunner was preceeded in death by his Tata Charles S. Ortiz and cousin Justus Christopher Baca.

Our hearts are broken but we are not. God will carry us through. As a family we request that you all continue to share smiles & kindness. We should all strive to follow in Gunner's memory. Let your smiles be abundant. Let your love touch everyone around you. And spread kindness wherever you go.

Services will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2026, 10:00 am at Crossroads Bible Church (97 East Road Los Alamos, NM).
