Guillermo Garduno

GUILLERMO R. GARDUNO, 60, a resident of Nambe, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Alejandro and Aurelia Garduno; brother Leonard Garduno, nephews Carlos Garduno Jr., Steven Garduno and many other relatives.

G-man was a simple man who did not have much but would share the little bit he did have.  He loved his community of Nambe.  He went to church every Sunday.  He had many friends and will be greatly missed.

He is also survived by his siblings, Joaquin Garduno, Carlos (Theresa) Garduno, Sandra (Damian) Sena, sister-in-law, Evelyn Garduno, nieces and nephews, Joylyn Cordova, Nadine Garduno, Melanie (Robert) Sandoval, James (Michelle) Garduno, Camille Garduno-McMillan (Matt), Genaro and Alex Romero, Jacinto Garduno, Valerie Naranjo Maestas, Yvette Naranjo, Marvin Naranjo and many other relatives.

A rosary will take place on Friday, November 12, at 9:30 am with mass to follow at 10:00 am at the Sacred Heart Church in Nambe, New Mexico.  Interment will be held at the Nambe Pueblo cemetery.  Serving the family as honorary pallbearers are Rudy Fernandez, Jerry Garcia, Filbert Romero, Carmel Sweeney, Joe Rivera and Leroy Jiron.  The family of Guillermo Garduno has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley: (505) 747-7477
