Gregory Clyde McWilliams, 67, of Los Alamos, New Mexico, passed away on March 31, 2024. He was born on February 8, 1957, in Dallas, Texas. Gregory retired from the US Postal Service and Smith's Pharmacy. He graduated from Denton High School. Gregory was a longtime member of the First Christian Church in Denton, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father Clyde "Pete" McWilliams, his mother Nettie Powers McWilliams, his stepmother Dorothy McWilliams, and his aunt and uncle, Gene and Shirley Smith.

He is survived by his spouse, Minette Pickett McWilliams, his daughter Nicole Dickerson (Donnie), his son Andrew McWilliams (Meredith), his stepson David Bradshaw (Kristi), his stepdaughter Kimberly Thomass (Nate), grandchildren Trae Dickerson, Grace Dickerson, Ella Dickerson, Ashlyn Bradshaw, Noah Thomass, Elijah Thomass, Kian Bradshaw, Aryn Bradshaw, and great grandson Wessyn Bradshaw. He is also survived by nieces, Stephanie McWilliams, Emily McWilliams, Hailey Smith, and cousins Mike Smith, Dona Smith, Paula Bolton, Belinda Hogue, and Gordon Ray Goddard.

In his free time, Gregory enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family, reading, and traveling. He was a man of few words, but when he did speak it was usually a quick-witted quip or a funny one liner.

Greg was knowledgeable in many subjects but especially enjoyed reading historical biographies. He was a master carpenter and specialized in cabinetry as a custom homebuilder with his father and grandfather in Denton before he joined on at the Post Office. Greg was a doer, and showed his loyalty and affection for family, friends, and neighbors by “doing” things for them. He could fix just about anything. And if he couldn’t fix it, he would build something new to replace it. Greg loved going to the Texas State Fair with family and almost never missed a year, even after moving to Los Alamos.
