Gregorio (Greg) Trujillo was born on Monday, March 22, 1954 in Santa Fe County, New Mexico to Susano and Guadalupe Trujillo, and stepmother Antonia Trujillo, all from El Rito, New Mexico. Greg grew up in the El Rito / Espanola area before he left to join the United States Army in the 1970s where he was stationed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Greg was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time with his family. He loved to joke around with family and friends and was the life of the party. He was a very skilled laborer who knew a little about everything. Greg passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at his home in Canones, New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Susano, Guadalupe, and stepmother Antonia, his long-time life partner, Virginia Vialpando, his son Amadante (Monte) Trujillo, his sisters Corrine Castillo and Darlene Balderrama, and his brother Dave Herrera.
Greg is survived by his kids: Robert Trujillo (El Rito, NM), Jose and Sarah, Vialpando; (Gallina, NM), Arnold Trujillo (Canones, NM), Genevie (Veva) Trujillo (Canones, NM), Donna Trujillo (Canones, NM), Corine Trujillo (Canones, NM), Yvonne Trujillo (Hernandez, NM), Mary Bell Trujillo (Hernandez, NM), Crystal Trujillo (Espanola, NM). Siblings: Sofie Garcia (Jesus)(La Mesilla, NM), Joe S. Trujillo (El Paso, TX), Ruth Trujillo (Loveland, CO), Bea Martinez (Loveland, CO), Chofe Herrera (Platteville, CO), Yvonne Ruiz (Carlos)(Loveland, CO), Amy Gonzalez (Daniel) (Clovis, NM), Archie Trujillo (Mary) (Loveland, CO). Greg also has numerous grandchildren, friends and family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 9:30 am in San Miguel Catholic Church in Canones, New Mexico, following the burial at the San Miguel Cemetery (Canones, NM). Reception afterwards at The Canones Community Center (Esqueleta) in Canones.
