Gloria "Lala" Quintana

GLORIA “LALA” E. QUINTANA, 83, a resident of Santa Cruz, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Dora Bustos; sons, Chris Bustos and Delaino Quintana Sr.; granddaughter, Crystal Bustos.

Gloria was a member of the Choir of the Santa Cruz de la Canada Church for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed listening to music, singing and dancing. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years Ross S. Quintana; daughters, Tina E. Garduno (Larry), Jasmain Pinon (Cornelio); grandchildren, Delaino Quintana Jr. (Vanessa), Irin Martinez (Nicole), Miquela Quintana (Vanessa M.), Anthony Pinon (Deisey), Adan Pinon, Jonathan Pinon, Nathan Pinon, Christy Silva (Tony), Amanda Silva and many great-grandchildren. The family of Gloria would like to thank Tiffany Sesma Baca and Maria Gutierrez whom were her caregivers for many years and also to Ambercare for their care. Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz. Burial will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 2:15 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers are Delaino Quintana Jr., Irin Martinez, Miquela Quintana, Anthony, Adan and Jonathan Pinon. The family of Gloria “Lala” E.
