Gloria Padilla

GLORIA “GOLDIE” PADILLA, 33, a resident of Española, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 11, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Padilla and Mary Herrera; grandparents, Orlando and Erlinda Herrera, Elisada Padilla; uncles, Pat Padilla, Johnny and Gilbert Gonzales, Joe Herrera; aunts, Doris Gonzales, Barbara Herrera and cousin, Jessica Gonzales. Gloria “Goldie” was a stay at home mother of her loving daughters. They were her main priority. She loved the outdoors, visiting her family and cruising around town. She was a very caring, kindhearted person who loved everyone. Ms. Padilla is survived by her daughters, Maxine and Heavenly Padilla; brother, Eric Herrera; sister, Jen Padilla; companion, Daniel Arellano; parents-in-law, Leo and Berlin Padilla; father of her daughters, Max Padilla all of Española; aunts and uncles, Angelita (Roberto) Arellano and Edith Martinez all of Wyoming, Helen (Pete) Gonzales, Theresa (David) Trujillo and Walter (Connie) Herrera all of Española and numerous other relatives and friends. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Española with burial to follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be; Melissa Herrera, Crystal Lopez, Amanda Sanchez, Isaiah Maestas, John James, Joshua Gonzalez, Miguel Lujan and Everett Baca. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory for funeral expenses for Gloria “Goldie” Padilla. The family of Gloria “Goldie” Padilla has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
