Gabriel Armijo

Gabriel “Marcos” Armijo, 73, a resident of Española went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 unexpectedly and was surrounded by his loving family and his brothers and sisters in blue. He is now reunited with his parents, Andy and Jennie. He was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Ralph and Beatrice Salazar; sisters-in-law, Olivia Armijo, and Vivian Salazar and brother-in-law, Raymond Salazar. Mr. Armijo is survived by his wife, Renee; children, Marcos (Monica), Virginia (Jose), Dominic (Jeanette), Shanee (Anthony); grandchildren, Dominic, Adrian (Jazmyn), Victor, Sabrina (Jeremy), Carlos, Orlando, Matthew, Dominique, Isaiah, Andres, Anthony, and Santana; great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Ava, and Olivia; brothers and sisters, Andy (Margaret), Lillian (Fred), George, Martha (Alex), Mary (Frank), Petra (Steve), Johnny (Brenda), Catherine (Richard), and countless nieces, nephews and especially his Brothers and Sisters in Blue. A rosary will be recited on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. also at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial to follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family of Gabriel “Marcos” Armijo has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
