Frances Valerio 85, a resident of El Duende passed away on November 29, 2021, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Pat Valerio, son Frank Valerio, and granddaughter Venessa Valerio. Parents Santiago and Antonia Fresquez. Her brother Ramon Fresquez, Joe Fresquez, Samuel Fresquez, sisters Maria Martinez and Teresita Moya.

She was a member of the Alter society and worked as a cook for the Espanola Elementary for 20yrs. She also worked for Holy Cross Church as a cook, and she had many side jobs after retiring. Frances enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, cooking, baking cakes, pies, and canning. She also loved birds, cats, dogs and watching the hummingbirds through her dining room window. She had 31 great grandchildren who she loved and wished they would have visited more.

She is survived by her brother Peter Fresquez and wife Lydia, sister Lourdes Chavez and husband Anthony. Children Rick Valerio (MaryAnn), Patrick (Louanna), Leonard (Patricia), Tina Talachy (Henry), Camilla Valerio, Robert (Renee). God Children Anna Maria, and Veronica Sanchez. Grandchildren: Richard Valerio Jr, Adam Valerio, David Lujan, Daniel Valerio, Anthony Valerio, Isaac Valerio, Jessica Cordova, Mike Valerio, Amanda Warren, Nicole Sing, Brooke Espinosa, Henry JR Talachy, Charles Talachy, Lorenzo Valerio, Jarred Valerio, Jayna Baker, Johnathan Briscoe, and Donovan Valerio.

Pallbearers: Richard Valerio, Daniel Valerio, Mike Valerio, Charles Talachy, Lorenzo Valerio, and Donovan Valerio.

Honorary Pallbearers: Nicole Sing, Brooke Espinosa, Amanda Warren, Isaac and Anthony Valerio, Jarred and Adam Valerio, and David Lujan.

The family would like to thank Del Corazon Hospice for the care they gave her. Our care providers Carmen, Tammy, Lourdes, Doreen, Yolanda, Cerina, and Dolores, she called them all her “Ruthies”.

A public Visitation will begin on December 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. a Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. all at the San Jose Church in Hernandez with a burial to follow at the San Jose Cemetery in Hernandez
