Floyd Herrera

Floyd Bernabe Herrera, 79, of Albuquerque, NM passed away on October 31, 2021, of a short illness. He was born in Espanola, NM on May 27, 1942.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bernabe and Celina Herrera.

Floyd was a civil engineer for the government. He traveled extensively throughout the world. He loved the outdoors, gardening, hunting, and fishing. He especially loved his cats Tigger, Felix, K.C and Hito.

He is survived by his sister Darlene (Louie) Salazar of Albuquerque, NM, niece Celina (Ben) Olbrich of Albuquerque, NM, son Adam (Terra) Herrera of Albuquerque, NM, grandsons Patrick Herrera of CA, Corey Herrera of Albuquerque, NM, Colten Herrera of Frankfurt, Germany, daughter Annette (Doug) Wolf of Albuquerque, NM, granddaughter Rachel (Erik) Denning of Denver, CO, great grandchildren Madeline, Avery, and Payton Denning, grandson Steven Wolf of Boston, MA, Tyler Wolf of San Diego, CA, granddaughter Courtney Wolf of Albuquerque, NM, daughter Teresa Herrera of Layton, UT, grandson Davis Herrera of Layton, UT, grandson Toby Herrera of Layton, UT, daughter, Sharon (Clark) Buchanan, grandson Conner Buchanan, granddaughter Lacie Buchanan and Maya (Myk) Buchanan of Las Vegas, NV.

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the DeVargas Funeral Home of Espanola, with a private burial to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
