Florence (Bridgie) C. Beach – Born December 20, 1924 To Carl E. & Jessie D. Clark in Rocky Ford, Colorado. Died August 16, 2021 in Los Alamos New Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents, 9 siblings, husband Donald S. Beach, daughter-in-law Barbara Beach, son Samuel R. Beach, great grandson Cody Beach & one still born son.

She is survived by son David C. Beach and Doris Sandoval, son Charles R. Beach and wife Helen, daughter Sandra F. Beach, daughter-in-law Joelyn Beach, 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.

She had a deep compassionate love for her husband and family. She loved being outside, collecting rocks, gardening and fishing which usually included hot dogs roasted over an open fire. She enjoyed crocheting and made several beautiful quilts. Her pancakes were famous and are still talked about by family members and friends. When she baked, her kitchen was filled with amazing smells of dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls, cookies and pies. She served as the Rutheron postmaster located in the old Rutheron store for many years. Her inner strength was amazing and admired by many.

Bridgie, you will be missed and continue to be loved by your family and friends.

Services will take place on August 23rd at 10:30 am at the Rutheron Community Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 masks are strongly advised.
