Flaymon - Age 44 - San Pedro/Truchas - Sandoval, Jr.

FLAYMON J. SANDOVAL, JR., 44, a resident of San Pedro and Truchas, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 following a short illness. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alberto and Ignacita Quintana; uncles, Nick Sandoval and Eufelio Ross Quintana and paternal grandparents, Felimon and Anita Sandoval. Flaymon was a gold prospector. He served two terms in the military, he was a sniper also. Flaymon liked the outdoors and fishing. He loved his family dearly and will be missed. Flaymon is survived by his sons, Flaymon Sandoval III of Chimayo and Daniel Montoya of Chimayo; daughter, Autumn Jadelinda Sandoval of Picuris; mother of his daughter, Barbara Shemayme; sisters, Tamy Sisneros and Sunee Sandoval; mother, Minnie Quintana of San Pedro; father, Flaymon Sandoval Sr. of Truchas; companion, Angela Vargas of Española; brothers, Joey Martin Sandoval of Santa Fe and Antonio Alberto of San Pedro and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at The Rock Christian Church in Española. Burial to follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Jerry Ortega, Ron “Howard” Salazar, Ben War, Tamara Martinez, Ricky Lee Martinez and Eric Gonzales. The family of Flaymon J. Sandoval has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
