Felicia Valdez

Felicia Ann Valdez 35, a resident of Santa Cruz, went to be with the lord on March 8, 2022, after a short illness. She was born on October 22, 1986 to Paul and Anna Valdez in Espanola. She leaves behind her son, the love of her life, Benjamin Tomas Anaya, her fiance Bennie Anaya. Felicia had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed by all her family members and those who knew her.

Preceded in death by her father Paul Valdez, grandfather Tomas Martinez, uncle Eugene Martinez, cousin Antonio Martinez, Uncle Jose Herrera, great- parents Amabilis and Olivama Herrera. Survived by her son Benjamin Tomas Anaya, mother Anna Valdez, grandmother Rosina Martinez, aunts Bridgit Martinez and Patricia Martinez, uncle Tomas Martinez II, cousins Joshua Martinez, Tomas Martinez III, Jonathan Martinez. And many other relatives.

Felicia was a kind hearted person. She was always there for anyone in need and was always offering her help. As a young child being the only girl grandchild she was always with the other love of her life, her grandpa Tomas. Felicia and Grandpa would always go on adventures together while she was growing up.

Serving as pallbearers are Bennie Anaya, Joshua Martinez, Louie Chacon, Tommy Martinez and Edward Herrera.

A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at 10:30 am at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, NM. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery on April 1, 2022.
