Evangeline (Vangie) Quintana

Evangeline (Vangie) Quintana beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and auntie left this world September 13, 2022 after battling a terminal illness. She is preceded in her death by her sister Gloria Gutierrez, brother Fidel Charles (Chuck) Gutierrez II, and nephew Kenny Valdez.

Evangeline is survived by her mother Angelina Gutierrez, father Fidel Gutierrez, sisters Bernadette and Yonah Gutierrez, brothers Zev Gutierrez and Andres Estrada, two children Chris Quintana and Leticia Atencio Doherty, as well as her grandson Cruz Quintana. She had many loving nieces and nephews Including María de la Luz Gutierrez, Fidel Charles (Chuck) Gutierrez III, Ian Gutierrez, Joani Gutierrez, Jeremy Gutierrez, Matthew Salazar, Samantha Martinez and Elijah Duran.

Vangie had a bright, special, and loving personality and was loved by many. Vangie lived a full life and always enjoyed the present. She had a special presence and always lit up a room. She will be missed and always cherished.

Memorial Service will take place at 5:00 pm Tuesday September 27, 2022 in the Sangre de Christo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home.
