Eutilia - Age 88 - Ojo Caliente Rivera

Eutilia Rivera, age 88, a resident of Ojo Caliente went home peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 21, 2013. She was born in Ojo Caliente on August 6, 1924. She peacefully went home to be with our lord and reunited with her parents Geronimo and Rufinita Garcia; husband, Maclovio Rivera; son, Gabriel Rivera; grandson, Ross Martinez; brothers, Pablo Garcia, Jorge Garcia, Espedion Garcia and sister, Rafelita Alire. Eutilia is Survived by her two sons, Paul Sr. and wife Bobby Rivera of Espanola, Paul Jr. and wife Judy Rivera of Ojo Caliente; two daughters, Bertha and husband Tony Trujillo of Espanola, Mary and husband Ross Martinez of Cuartelez; grandchildren, Yvonne Martinez, Steven Rivera, and Trinnie Velasquez; great-grandchildren, Santiago Espinosa and Kayla Velasquez; three sisters, Flor Sisneros and Elma Garcia of Colorado, Eufemia Gallegos of Ojo Caliente. Eutilia loved to be outdoors taking care of her flowers and enjoyed being with her family. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 6:00p.m. Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home and Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated, Wednesday June 26, 2013 at 10:00a.m. at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ojo Caliente with burial to follow at the Ojo Caliente Catholic Cemetery, with the following serving as pallbearers, Nick Lovato, Tony Trujillo, Ross Martinez, Steven Rivera, Archie Garcia and Randy Garcia. Honorary pallbearer will be Santiago Espinosa.
