Estevan Gallegos

Estevan D. Gallegos of Las Trampas left to his eternal home on January 14, 2022 at the age of 31. Cremation has taken place as per his wishes.

Estevan was preceded by his maternal grandparents, Bonifacio and Carol Lopez.

Estevan grew up in Las Trampas and had many adventures with his brother Andre' and their cousins, exploring the nearby mountains. Often coming home late with some detailed descriptions of their findings and mishaps.  A graduate of Penasco High School in 2008, he continued his growth in knowledge with life lessons and took to nature and its offerings. He loved fishing but wouldn't eat his catch.  Hunting was his weakness.  Although he didn't have a draw, he would partner up with those that did and help fill that tag. A self-educated man when it came to fixing cars, electronics, and many other things that he was asked to look at.  In January 2016, he became a father to his princess, Alianna.  She had his heart from the moment he laid eyes on her.  Throughout her tender 5 years, he has shown her a lot of the outdoor activities he loved.
Estevan made many best friends in his short lifetime and is loved by many.   Always on the go with them and never saying no. The last few years, he worked alongside Andre' as a mobile home installer and was very proud of their work. After each job, he posted the completed project on Facebook to show their accomplishments.

Estevan is survived by his daughter Alianna , brother Andre'(Kathryn), nephew Leandro, mother Alice (Dave Tainter), father Antonio (Kristin Clingerman), paternal grandparents Tino and Gloria, grandmother Anna Rogers, great grandparents Joe E and Aurelia Madrid, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

A rosary will take place on Saturday February 5, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church in Chimayo NM, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. As per Estevan's request, there will be no interment.
