Estevan - age 81 - Espanola Archuleta

\r\nEstevan Archuleta, age 81, a resident of Española originally of Dixon passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 following a lengthy illness. Estevan was preceded in death by his parents, Celso and Frutosa Archuleta; son Victor Archuleta; brothers, Celestino Archuleta and Claudio Archuleta; stepdaughter, Jeanette Ortiz; grandson, Joshua St. Martin. Mr. Archuleta was known as the chili man, he enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. Estevan is survived by his wife Genevieve Archuleta of Española; children, Ruby, Vivian, Wayne and Victor Archuleta and wife Lori all of Dixon, Paula Ortiz, Lisa St. Martin and Joseph Ortiz and wife Beverly all of Alcalde; very special great-granddaughter raised like a daughter, Trysten Campos, of Española; grandchildren, Carlos Archuleta, Calvin Gonzales, Cassandra Dimas, Crystella Gonzales, Alyssa and Savannah LaCome, Novela Salazar, Beatriz Archuleta, Celestino Archuleta all of Dixon, Tiffany Ortiz of Española and Angelica Trujillo of Alcalde; 14 step-grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eloisa Garcia and husband Tony of Dixon, Orcilia Trujillo and husband Alfonso, Carlotta Roybal and Jose both of Santa Fe and Laura Medina of Las Cruces; sisters-in-law, Beatrice Archuleta and Lupe Archuleta both of Dixon; as well as numerous other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Public visitation will be begin on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sangre de Cristo chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Anthony’s Catholic church in Dixon. Burial to follow at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Carlos Archuleta, Calvin Gonzales, Jerry Ryan Trujillo, Derrick Trujillo, Ruben Archuleta, and Anthony Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Cordova, Rubel Leyba, Joseph Ortiz, Joe Dimas, Gilbert Romero, Gilbert Sanchez, and Kenny Gallegos. The family of Estevan Archuleta has entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n \r\n
