Ernesto Romero

Ernesto Romero was born on October 16, 1939 passed away December 30, 2022. He was a resident of Dixon, NM. He passed away from a long Illness.

Ernesto is preceded in death by children Orlinda, Ernesto (Ernie) Jr., James, Johnny and Carl Romero.  Grandson, Adrian Romero.  Parents Jose Amadeo and Estefanita Romero.  In-Laws, Eloy and Fedelina Gonzales.  Grandmother Maria Mascarenas and many other beloved relatives.  Ernesto was owner and operator of Ernesto Romero & Sons Concrete Finishing for over 35 years working in Los Alamos and White Rock before retiring in 2007.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.  He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Elva Romero.  Children, Jimmy and Juanita Romero.  Grandchildren, Pamela (Julio) Alcala and Carl Romero Jr.  Great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Romero and Julian and Natalia Alcala.  Brother, John Romero.  He is also survived by many loving relatives. 

A Rosary will be held Sunday, January 8th, 2023 at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Dixon at 6 p.m.  The funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 9th, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church followed by burial at the Dixon Catholic Cemetery.
