Ernest Maestas - Courtesy Announcement

Ernest Gilbert Maestas 49, a resident of Pueblo, Colorado, an avid Steelers fan, went to be with our Lord on January 8, 2017. He was preceded in death by his Goddaughter; Vanessa Maestas, his paternal grandparents; Jacobo and Lydia Maestas of Hernandez. Maternal grandparent; Merced Quintana of Santa Cruz. Ernest is survived by his two sons; Ernest Jr. (Lunden), Gabriel (Lexi) and grandsons; Maddox and Maverick Maestas. Goddaughter; Shania Maestas. His parents; Roy and Viola Maestas all of Pueblo, Colorado. Grandmother; Petrita Quintana of Santa Cruz. His siblings; Ronnie (Valerie) of Pueblo, Colo., Melanie (Wade) Chacon of Bosque Farms and Audrey (Mark) Trujillo of Las Vegas, NV. Nieces and nephews, Roy and Shania Maestas, Xavier, Darius & Linda Chacon, Tatum Maestas-Hall. Great nieces; Natalie and Mariah Maestas. Extended aunts and uncles, family and friends. Ernest had a great sense of humor and will always be remembered for his contagious laughter. Ernest served four years in the U.S. Army National Guard. Rosary will be recited at Romero’s Funeral Home in Pueblo, Colo. Thursday January 12, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday January 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. also at Romero Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the Roselawn Cemetery in Pueblo, Colorado.  This has been a courtesy obituary to the family of Ernest Gilbert Maestas, may he rest in peace.
