Ermelina Lila Gonzales, 86, born on November 23, 1934, a resident from Dixon, passed away on November 19, 2021, at home from a lengthy illness.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nick Gonzales, infant son Richard, her parents Rumaldo and Magdalena Gonzales; brothers Florito and Albert Gonzales; her sister Emma Gurule; her sisters-in-law Cipricia Griego, Juanita Gonzales, and Lucy Gonzales.

She is survived by her children Armando (Dana) Gonzales, Rachel Gonzales, Richard (Peggy) Gonzales, Shirley Gonzales, Larry Gonzales, and a grandson who she raised Paul (Erlinda) Gonzales. Grandsons Albert Roybal and Damian Gonzales; her sisters Oralia Gonzales, and Ruth Gurule, her Tia Bennie Gonzales, God children Norman Gurule and Loretta Lopez as well as many nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Armando, Richard, Larry, Paul, Damian Gonzales and Albert Roybal.

Honorary pallbearers will be Vivian and Nancy Medina, Christine Chavez, Norman Gurule, Bobby Gonzales, and Peggy Griego.

We would like to also thank Father John Kimari for always being there. As well as the loving staff of Ambercare and everyone for your thoughts, prayers, and food.

A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 7:00 pm at the St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Dixon. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on December 1st, 2021 at 11:00 am at the St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Dixon with burial to follow at Father Kupper Cemetery.
