Eric Martinez

Eric N. Martinez, 32 A resident of Arroyo de Agua passed away on December 15, 2021. Eric Martinez is preceded in death by Paternal Grandparents Alfredo and Rafealita Martinez, Aunt Rayna Montoya, Uncles; Johnny Cata and Lonnie Martinez.

Eric grew up in Arroyo de Agua and graduated from Espanola Valley High School, he never knew a stranger and would always make you feel welcomed. He would do anything for a laugh and always enjoyed a good dare. Anyone that truly knew him, knew he had such a big heart. He’d give you anything, even if it wasn’t his, he could make you laugh even when you were mad at him. Anyone who knew Eric was touched by his kindness, humor, and mild temperament. He loved fiercely and deeply, and we take comfort in knowing that Eric is now at peace surrounded by light.

Eric Martinez is survived by sons Eric Martinez, Damien Martinez, Mother Pamela Martinez, Father Manuel Martinez (Belami), brother Manuel Martinez Jr. (Crystal), sister Katie Martinez, girlfriend Vanessa Chavez, Maternal Grandparents Norman and Elaiza Montoya. Cousins that were like brothers and sisters are Amos Martinez, Jennifer Martinez, Estevan Montoya, Brandon Garcia, Salomon Martinez, and Larry Martinez Jr. as well as many more Aunt and Uncles and Cousins.

A public visitation will take place on Sunday December 26, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at Victory Faith Church in Espanola, with a Devotional Service to follow at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral Service will take place on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Victory Faith Church in Espanola and burial will follow at the Coyote Community Cemetery, in Coyote, NM

Serving the family as pallbearers are Amos Martinez, Kris Cordova, Johnny Trujillo, Estevan Montoya, Norman Montoya, and Larry Martinez Sr. Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Trujillo Jr., Caleb Trujillo, Manuelito Martinez, Jennifer Martinez, Michelle Herrera, Josanna Gonzalez, and Nick Serna
