Eremita Chavez, born May 23, 1935. A resident of Cuba, NM passed away Monday, December 27, 2021. She was born in San Pablo, NM.

Eremita is proceeded in death by her Parents, Antonio and Franciskita Maestas; Husband, Juan Chavez; Son, Jerome Chavez.

Eremita was survived by her two siblings, Tony Maestas and Rose Martinez; Husband, Pres; five loving children; Doris Chavez-Cortez and Husband Fernando, Wilma Cordova and Husband Ivan, Claudine Montoya and Partner Danny, Larry Chavez and Wife Dolores, Christine Swick and Husband Mike. Eremita was also survived by her twenty grandkids, forty great grandkids and three great great grandkids

a rosary will take place on January 13, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Cuba, with a mass of Christian burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. also at the Immaculate Conception Church in Cuba with a burial to follow at the La Jara Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Johnny, Jerry, Miguel, Matthew, Juanito, and Ivan and Honorary will be Cruz, Vicente, Jerome, Nicholas, Valentino, and Christopher.
