Emma Dallas

EMMA MARIE DALLAS, 90, a resident of Taos and Española, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albino and Nicolasa Lopez-Archuleta; husband, Henry Alonzo Dallas; brother, Elias Archuleta; son, Wayne Dallas and grandson, Anthony Dallas. Mrs. Dallas is survived by her children, Frank Dallas (Debra) of Arroyo Seco, Henry (Hank) Dallas (Vera), and Linda and Lucy Dallas all of Albuquerque; grandson she raised, Lawrence Silva; granddaughter that cared for her during her later years, Victoria Dallas-Romero (Raymond) of Española; brothers and sisters, Paul Archuleta (Bernice) of Ojo Caliente, Olivar Archuleta (MaryAnn) of Nambe, Adelida Lala Jaramillo (Simon) of Lyden, Dora Martinez of Hernandez and Orlinda Archuleta of California; daughter-in-law, Tillie Martinez of Española and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends she made at the nursing home who became family. A rosary will be recited on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Espanola with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at 12:45 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Raymond Romero, Hank, Keith and Kyle Dallas, Darren Sanchez, Jerome Trujillo, Marcus Dallas and Enrico Eric Romero. Honorary pallbearers will be, Haylie Sanchez and Matthew Trujillo.
