Eloiza Rodriguez

June 11, 1931 — May 25, 2022

Eloiza R. Rodriguez, has been called upon by our Lord, Jesus Christ to join her beloved husband, Alberto C. Rodriguez, her parents, Elaisa T. and Augustin Romero, on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Eloiza was born on June 11, 1931, in Truchas, NM.

She loved her childhood hometown, there were many things that gave her joy, but her love of family, her parents, and the special bond with her siblings, her special relationship with her sister Ernestina, both left as widows at a very young age, left to raise their children together, often serving as two mothers to their combined families. There was so much love, such unconditional love and support. Grandma “Trujilla”, or “Tuchi” as our maternal grandmother, was our matriarch, all our cousins were raised as brothers and sisters. As our “Tio Flavio” was the only father figure we had, we knew him as, “Tio Daddy.” With “‘Tio Daddy,’ we knew everything would be alright, we felt safe.

She was preceded in death by two infant children, Josephine, and Albert Jr., Sister, Ernestina Lopez, (Eli P.) Brothers, Flavio (Jennie), Amabil (Priscilla),and sister, Selonis Romero. Her grandson, Ricardo “Cardo” Martin Martinez, Sons-in-law, Eppie Tapia Sr., and Dennis Salazar Sr. She was also preceded by Debari C. and Frank Rodriguez, Sisters in law, Florencia Martinez (Silviano), Ermelina Martinez, (Ricardo), Brothers in Law, Samuel Rodriguez, Eugenio Rodriguez, (Fidelia), and Porferio Rodriguez, and Joe B Romero. Nephews, Valerio Lopez, Timoteo Romero, Steve Romero, Kenneth Romero and Jerry Rodriguez. Nieces, Viola Velarde, Esther Miller, Candie Romero, and Janet Trujillo. May all their souls rest in peace.

Surviving, and heartbroken are children, Florence Martinez, (Michael), Margaret Tapia, Laura Montoya, (Marcelo), Rosalie Lovato, (Albert), Sandra Martinez, (Patrick), David Rodriguez, (Lorraine), Anthony Rodriguez, (Tamara), Lee Rodriguez, (Lori), Liza Przyllas, Chrissie Adebayo (Olufemi “Femi”). 23 Grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and many special nephews and nieces, that were very special and very loved.
