Elias Rael

Elias Rael, 71, a lifelong resident of Vallecitos, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday, February 9, 2019.  Elias was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Maria Eliza Rael; brothers, Edward Rael, Dan Rael Jr., Cloveo Rael, Leroy Rael and Ronnie Rael. Elias was a caring and loving person that will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Elias is survived by his son, Leslye Emmett Rael; brothers, Gilbert Rael and wife Evelyn and Joe Rael and wife Katie; sisters-in-law, Matilda Rael, Albinita Rael, Olivia Rael and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows in Vallecitos. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows in Vallecitos. Burial to follow at the Vallecitos Catholic Cemetery with the following serving the family as pallbearers, Eddie Rael Jr., Alex Rael, Brian Rael, Valerie Rael, Pauline Martinez and Eugene Martinez.  The family of Elias Rael has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
