Elaine was born in Gallina, N.M. She went on to be with the Lord after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Elaine's passion was cooking, camping with her family and enjoying her grandchildren whom she adored.

Elaine was preceded in death by her father Remigio Sanchez, brothers Mike and Floyd, sister Connie, daughter Karen and grandson Matthew.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years Florencio Archuleta, Mother Isabel Sanchez, daughter Pamela, son Eric/Kim. The love of her life great grand-daughter Essence raised by her. 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, sisters Bea/Gene, Ruth/Mike, Darlene/Travis, brother Delbert, nieces and nephews, cousins who loved and will miss her.

A Public Viewing will take place on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at DeVargas Funeral Home and a Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
