Eddie - Age 64 - Gallina - Padilla -

EDDIE PADILLA, 64, a resident of Gallina, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 10, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emilio and Elizaida Padilla; brother, Patricio “Pat” Padilla; sister, Rosita Martinez; brothers-in-law, Tomas and Robert Martinez and long time companion Mary Herrera. Eddie will always be remembered by being a loving, caring father, brother and best friend. He loved to hunt, fish and simply being in the woods. Eddie always would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Eddie will be dearly missed all who knew and loved him. Mr. Padilla is survived by his daughters, Gloria Padilla of Española and Jennifer Lovato of Albuquerque; raised like a son, Eric Herrera of Española; sisters, Edith Martinez of Gallina, Angelita Arellano and husband Robert and Eva Piedra and husband Ruben all of Greenriver, WY; brother, Anselmo Padilla of Gallina, also surviving is grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. A funeral will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Templo Getsemani Assembly of God Church in Salitra. The family of Eddie Padilla has entrusted the care of their loved on the to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
