Dora Mae Cruz 76, was born on May 9, 1950, a lifelong resident of Ohkay Owingeh, NM. 

Dora passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2026, surrounded by her 2 daughters Carol & Sybil, grandchildren James, Marquetta & Melodie who loved her deeply. Dora was preceded in death by her loving parents Frank D & Felicita Cruz, brothers Jose G, Salvador, Jose, Francisco (Sonny) Peter & Willy, sisters Elvie, Pasky & Carmen. Late companion Ray Dupree.

Dora is survived by daughters Carol (Eric) Sybil (Anthony) Grandchildren James (Nico), Marquetta (Cody) Melodie(Daniel). Great grandchildren Xzavier, Jayla, Troy, Davina, Lincoln, Ayani, Kwynn & Daniel Jr. nieces, nephews & relatives. 

Dora was an incredible softball player who traveled North, South, East & West for softball tournaments and earning multiple MVP and All Tourney awards. Dora will be remembered by being A loving, kind, & caring Mother, Grandmother, Aunt & friend. Her favorite pass time was watching Hallmark movies, playing Bingo at the Senior Center where she socialized with many, and spending time with Family.

Services have taken place.
