Donna Dowdy

DONNA DOWDY , 72, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, September 29, 2018. Donna was the 1st paid fire woman in Española and was also a volunteer fire woman. She also loved camping, fishing, being a mom, bowling, going to the casino and her puppies. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dowdy, Sr; son, Jack Dowdy, Jr.; 2 brothers and sisters and her granny. Mrs. Dowdy is survived by her daughter, Jane Davis and husband Neal; grandson, Jack Dowdy III and wife Tyana; great-granddaughter, Marissa Grovey; soon to be great- great grandchild and many nieces, nephews and friends. Public visitation will begin on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Santa Fe. The family of Donna Dowdy has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
