In Loving Memory of Donaldo P. Archuleta
Donaldo P. Archuleta, 52, a lifelong resident of Española, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2026. He was born on October 16, 1973.
Donaldo was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Archuleta; his brother, Matthew Archuleta; his sister, Glenda Rodriguez; and his special friend, Alichia Valencia.
He is survived by his loving mother, Octavianita Archuleta; his sister, Marget Sewell (Derrick); and his brothers, Felix Archuleta (Michelle) and Joseph Archuleta, all of Española.
Although Donaldo did not have children of his own, he cherished his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. He leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews: Felicia Archuleta-Toya (Ryan), Diana Padilla, Joseph Archuleta, Jessica Romero, Jason Archuleta (Nicole), Liza Archuleta (Jacob), Manuel Otero (Adrianna), Alexandra Archuleta, Raymond Archuleta, Mariah Archuleta, Santiago Archuleta, and Justine Martinez. He was also a proud great-uncle to Savannah Gallegos, Noah Garcia, Trinity Archuleta, Liam Toya, Crystal Garcia, Abigail Martinez, Adrielle and Lilly Padilla, Riley Osegueda, Luke Osegueda, JayLynn Romero, Aliana Rosas, Aryanna Jaramillo, Xyanna Jaramillo, and Zachariah Martinez.
He is also survived by his dear friends, Abedon and Pablita Lujan, and Larry and Melanie Espinosa, whose friendship, love, and support were a meaningful part of his life. He is further survived by many other cherished family members and friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and generosity.
Donaldo will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering faith, and infectious sense of humor. He was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan who rarely missed cheering on his favorite team. He enjoyed attending Monster Jam events with his close friend, Abedon, and treasured the time spent with family, especially playing games of Aggravation filled with laughter and friendly competition.
A devoted man of faith, Donaldo loved reading the Bible and sharing God’s Word with everyone he met. His greatest act of love was caring for his mother, whom he faithfully supported with compassion and devotion. He was employed at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he worked as both a custodian and an escort, taking pride in his work and the relationships he built with his coworkers.
Donaldo’s legacy is one of love, faith, laughter, and selfless service to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to call him son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, coworker, and friend.
A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held at the Rock Christian Fellowship Church in Espanola, NM, date and time are pending
Pallbearers will be his beloved nieces and nephews, whom he loved as his own and who were a constant source of pride and joy throughout his life.
