Diana Sena

Diana Jane Sena, 64, of Pojoaque, passed away at home on Saturday February 19, 2022. Diana was born on June 4, 1957, in Los Angeles, CA to Thomas and Barbara Seitz. The family moved to Los Alamos in 1959 when Tom took a job with the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Diana attended LAHS and graduated in 1975. She was a member of the drill team. She stayed in close contact with many of her high school friends and was on the class reunion committee for many years. Diana’s career spanned 35 years at LANL, all of which were at TA-55. She made many friends and colleagues while working on the hill.

Diana was full of life and always had a smile on her face. Weather she was riding horses, enjoying the lake, mountains, traveling, or just relaxing and watching the sunset with her husband, you would find her with a drink in-hand, having a good laugh and enjoying life. You would know whenever she was in the area from her distinctive and infectious laugh.

Diana was preceded in death by her father Thomas P. Seitz, and infant brother James Grady Seitz.

She is survived by her loving husband Francis “Pancho” of Pojoaque, son Anthony and her pride and joy her granddaughter, Lauren. Amy Duran, and Amy’s son Mateo, all of Pojoaque. She is also survived by her mother Barbara Stoddard of Los Alamos, sister Carolyn Willitts and husband Larry of Rio Rancho, brother Stephen Seitz and wife Yancey of Heath, TX, sisters-in-law Marquita of Pojoaque, Stephanie Dunahoo and husband Keith of Alamagordo, brother-in-law John Mel Sena and wife Geneva of Albuquerque, as well as many nieces, nephews, godson, extended family and friends.

Memorial Service  will be held  on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the  Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory.
