Denise Valdez

Denise Valdez, 69, a resident of Cebolla, NM, was called home on December 3, 2022. Denise was preceded in death by her father, Aquilino Valdez, her mother, Matilde Valdez (Martinez), brother, Martin Valdez, brother, Monty Trujillo and Grandson, Richard Aragon.

Denise was a business woman for many years. During her career she helped countless people enjoy their lives despite their age and disabilities.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, an aunt, sister and friend to many. Denise loved to laugh and enjoyed traveling with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children: Robert Aragon (Faith), Lawrence Aragon (Veronica), Jonathan Coriz (Brittany), Reina Coriz (Jason) and Matias Valdez (Angelica) whom she considered as a son, and by the father of her children Raymond Coriz; her grandchildren: Robert Aragon Jr, Caleb Valdez, Harmony Aragon, Mariah Martinez, Gen Aragon, Katrina Aragon, Luis Marquez, Mia Aragon, Omar Aragon, Rico Aragon, Jonathan Coriz, Tristan Coriz, Aiden Coriz, Kaylee Coriz-Orozco, Abraham Herrera and Jadon Vigil; great-grandchildren: Adrian, Julian, Emilia, Josiah, Noah, Robert III, and Bruce; her siblings: Tita Herrera, Alex Valdez (Connie), Aquilino Valdez Jr. (Angela), Rachel Trujillo and other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held, December 10, 2022 at the Santo Nino Church in Cebolla with the rosary beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at the Cebolla Cemetery following the mass where Denise will be placed to rest with her beloved mother.

 The family of Denise Valdez has entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home.
