DEBORAH MARIE MARTINEZ, a resident of Alcalde, born July 15, 1967 passed away in Albuquerque on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. She was preceded in death her grandparents, Alfredo and Benita both of La Villita, Cerila and Juan Lucero both of El Rito; parents, Juan and Diane Martinez both of La Villta; aunt, Frances Vigil of Espanola, uncle, David Martinez of Taos; son, Eric Martinez of Alcalde; nephew, David Campos of Alcalde. Deborah is survived by her three aunts, Anna Martinez of Taos, Martha Stockholm of Santa Fe, Berna and Alfred Fernandez of Hernandez; 3 grandchildren of Albuquerque; 3 children, Timmy Martinez and companion Promis both of Albuquerque, Melanie Martinez and husband Sergio, Juan Antonio Martinez and companion Nadine; brother, Johnny Martinez and companion, Alexandra all of Albuquerque, 2 sisters, Karleen Campos and companion Kevin Gallegos of Alcalde, Audrey Martinez and companion Frank both of Albuquerque; 2 nephews, Marcos Martinez and wife Tanya of Colorado, Anthony Vigil of Albuquerque, 4 nieces, Vanessa Martinez of Ranchitos, April Duran of Albuquerque, Joleen Campos of Alcalde, Seriva Yanez of Espanola; cousins, Wesley Martinez and Victoria of Taos, Rick Vigil of Santa Fe, Tammy Vigil of Espanola and many other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh, with a burial to follow at La Villita Cemetery in Alcalde.
