David John Age 59 El Rancho Manzanares

DAVID JOHN MANZANARES, 59, of El Rancho, NM was called home on Saturday, June 11, 2011. David was a gentle giant, a real and humble man. His family was his life and he enjoyed spending time with them. His favorite things in life were serving and worshiping the Lord, traveling and camping. He was preceded in death by his parents, Narciso and Rosana Manzanares; his birth father, Frank Manzanares; brother, Leonard Manzanares; mother and father-in-law, Aaron and Veronica Roybal from El Rancho; brothers-in-law, Clyde Herrera and Edward Martinez. David is survived by the Love of his life of 40 ½ years, Julia; daughters, Jennifer Manzanares (Ernesto), Yvette Manzanares-Valdez (Matthew), BettyJo Manzanares-Hart (Kevin); grandchildren, JohnPaul, Andrew, Julianne, Kaiden, Kaleiann “Nu-nu”; God-children, David Roybal Jr., Wesley Campa, Abe Herrera, Monique Martinez, Joseph Roybal whom he loved dearly; birth mother, Sophie Manzanares; sisters, Marlene Martin, Elizabeth Martinez, Joyce Foropulus, Judy Chavez and Elaine Rodriguez; brother, Leonard Manzanares; his special extended Roybal family, and many nieces and nephews. David had many special friends and brothers and sisters in Christ. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday June 16, 2011 with visitation to begin at 6:00 p.m. at Victory Faith Church in Española with a devotional service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Victory Faith Church in Española. Interment to follow at the Manzanares Residence in El Rancho, NM with the following serving as pallbearers, JohnPaul Herrera, David Roybal Jr., Abe Herrera, Joseph Roybal, Wesley Campa, Matthew J. Valdez, Kevin Hart, Leonard Manzanares. Honorary Pallbearers: Monique Martinez, Andrew and Julianne Herrera, Kaiden and Kaleiann Hart.
