David "Davi" Martinez

David Martinez 50, a resident of Chimayo, NM, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his mother Jeanette Luttrell, paternal grandmother/Nina Cora D. Martinez, maternal grandmother Ramona Luttrell, and his uncle Sammy Martinez.

David was a loving son, cousin, nephew, grandson and friend. To many he was known as Davi especially to the ones closest to him. David loved doing body work on cars and painting them also. He loved his Red S10 and grand prix but his babies were his Harleys. He also had a limo and suburban that he also cherished. He also had a love for his dogs Raja and Goodboy. David had many talents and was very smart. David had many friends and was very known in cars shows in Colorado.

David was survived by his father Raymond Martinez of Chimayo, his auntie Lindy, cousins Samantha, Richard and Victoria. His aunts Judy and Janice. His uncle Johnny. His uncle Billy Martinez (Geneva), cousin Billy Jr. and numerous other relatives and friends whom he loved dearly.

A funeral mass will take place on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Private burial will take place at a later date.
