David C. Maestas

Our father, David C. Maestas Sr. left this world on October 25, 2022 at the age of 79.  He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. David was a life long resident of Santa Cruz, NM.

David is survived by his children David Maestas Jr., Sean Maestas, Alisha Maestas and Ricky Romero.  Grand children Cara Maestas, Curtis Lovato, Joshua Maestas, Kylie Trujillo, Brenda Trujillo, Alyssa Maestas, Keith Romero and Leti Romero.  Brother and sisters Ben Maestas (Irene), Olympia Maestas, Lucy Chavez and many nephews and nieces.

David is preceded in death by daughter Tammy Trujillo, grandson Antonio Trujillo, baby son David Maestas Jr., parents Amarante and Aurelia Maestas, sisters Irene Wyatt and Ruby Samora.

On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, NM, a Public visitation will begin at 12:00 pm, a Rosary to follow at 12:30 pm and a Christian Mass at 1:15 pm, followed by burial at the Holy Cross Cemetery in El Llano, NM.
