David Baros, age 37
, resident of El Rancho, N.M., passed away on November 8, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal and paternal great grandparents.
He is survived by his parents, Eloy and Dianne Baros and sister, Kim Baros (Edwina). His children, Davi, Mario, Angelica, and Isaiah Baros and Isaiah’s mother, Gia Padilla and her daughter Gianna Herrera, who was very special to David.
He is also survived by his grandparents, Gus and June Roybal, also of El Rancho. Maternal Aunts and uncles: Lisa and Henry Ortiz, their sons, Trey Ortiz (Jamie) and Corey Ortiz; Renee Roybal and Ambrose Castellano and their children, Kalei Windham (Andres), Kristiana Castellano, Ambrosio and Cassandra Castellano and son, Emilio, Martin Castellano (Alexis), Gabrielle Castellano. Paternal Uncles and Aunts; Mike Baros; Maxine Baros and her children Stephanie, Donna and Antonio; Donald Baros; Annette and Roger Gallegos, daughters Arlene and Jessica; Christine Baros, sons Jaime and Marcos; Nicolle Baros, children Lovely and Jaysin; Jon Baros; Tom Garcia (cousin) who was like an uncle and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins.
David was a beloved son, brother, father, nephew and grandson, who enjoyed following his children’s sports activities, hunting, mud bogging, camping, and raising his animals. Everyone who knew David knew he was an amazing father to his children and was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever possible. For the past 7 years, David was an employee of Santa Fe County Public Works Department as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
Services will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe Del Valle De Pojoaque with a public viewing at 9:00 am and Mass at 10:00 am. The burial will take place at El Rancho Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers are Tom Garcia, Ambrose Castellano, Trey Ortiz, Corey Ortiz, Brandon Salazar, James Valdez, Eric Giron and Jessie Chavez.
