David Antonio Bustos

David Bustos, 66, of Espanola, NM, passed away on August 15, 2025.

David was preceded by his parents Frank Bustos and Trinidad Valdez and son Jacob Bustos.

David is survived by his wife Cathy Giron; daughter Christine Bustos (Isaiah Romero); sister Martha Perraglio; brother Don Bustos, Abran Bustos and Robert Bustos; grandson Silas Thompson; many cousins, nieces, nephews and many great friends.

David served in the US Air force from 1978 to1990. For many years David worked in car sales from 1990 to 2010 and Good To Go Transport from 2011 to 2024.

A Public Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 5:30 pm, with Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory in Espanola, NM.

Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 10:30 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, NM. Burial to follow at 2:00 pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers are Silas Thompson, Alexis Ortiz, Lonnie Sanchez, Andres Bustos, Robert Bustos and Abran Bustos.
