Danny Archuleta

DANNY LEROY ARCHULETA, 46, a resident of Espanola, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Danny is preceded in death by his father, Dan L. Archuleta; paternal grandfather, Jose Archuleta, maternal grandparents, Acorcinio and Tonnie Romero.

Danny was a loving companion, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend who had a heart of gold. He loved whole heartedly. Danny was the rock of his family, he loved them dearly and would do anything for his family.  He enjoyed the outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing or riding his motorcycle to get away. Danny was a storyteller and was quick to come up with clever tall tales that kept you wanting more. He was known as a prankster and jokester.  He was known for his smile and his contagious laugh. He was very adventurous and had no fear of trying new things. He is going to be missed dearly by all who loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Trinnie Archuleta; children, Kayla Sanchez, Kyle and Danielle Archuleta; fiancé, April Olivas; step-sons, Jerad Olivas and Adonise Martinez; sisters, Deanna Cordova (Rob), Virginia Archuleta (PhyllisAnn), Liana Lovato (Robby); Paternal Grandmother Alice Archuleta; Godparents Ben Casados and Pauline Martinez  and countless relatives and friends whom he loved dearly. A rosary will be held on Monday August  23, 2021 at 10:15 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. at La Iglesias de Santa Cruz de la Canada. Private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please plant a tree in Danny’s honor on the DeVargas website. Serving the family as pallbearers are Kyle Archuleta, Matthew Martinez, Robby Lovato, Andres Vigil, Antonio Vigil, Levi Cordova, Victor Sanchez,  and Adonise Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Makeila Cordova and Joshua Lujan, Godson Axel Lovato, only niece Miranda Cordova and nephew Ayden Lovato.
