Daniel Ray Roybal

It is with a shattered heart that we announce the passing of Daniel Ray Roybal as he was called home on Friday, December 19th, 2025 . He was born on October 3,1984 to Henry I. and Amelia Roybal.

Daniel is an always will be a truly special person, radiating kindness, care, and love as a father, son, uncle, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He would go the extra mile for others without hesitation, and his generosity was unwavering, always willing to help those in need. He would take the shirt off his back if that meant helping someone.

He had a very compelling personality and the light he had inside of him never grew , and his humor could illuminate even the darkest of rooms for hours. He had a very compelling personality that everyone who was blessed to meet him got the opportunity to experience.He was funny and daring he could make you laugh for hours. He had one of the biggest hearts I have ever seen that only grew as the years passed. He was resilient in many things and was a fast learner. he loved working outside, either planting in the garden, taking care of his mom’s rose bushes or working on his cars. He loved spending time with his son daniel ray going on walks, fishing and watching his son shoot the pallet guns. He was passionate about the outdoors, finding joy in gardening, nurturing his mom's rose bushes, and working on his cars. Fishing and hunting were second nature to him, and he adored spending time with family and friends, creating unforgettable memories filled with laughter. He had a special bond with his niece Alyssa that never went unnoticed. Daniel loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved making people laugh and he liked to play jokes. He was very outgoing and his personality attracted many people. We were very blessed to have him. He had a beautiful soul one of a kind irreplaceable and he’s going to be deeply missed and was loved by everyone who knew him. The light daniel had inside him never grew dim it only grew with time. Daniel's outgoing personality attracted a multitude of people, and his presence in our lives was a precious gift. His soul was a masterpiece of kindness, one-of-a-kind, and irreplaceable, leaving an unfillable void that will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Daniel attended Pojoaque High school where he graduated in 2003.He went on to attend college at UNM he finished his degree at Santa Fe community college and completed his hvac. He worked for an hvac company in Nambe. He was very well respected.

Daniel was preceded in death by his dad Henry Roybal; brother Randy Roybal; grandparents Pablo and Julia Roybal and Armando and Celia Archuleta; uncle Robert Rivera; cousin Stephanie Castaneda and cousin Isaiah Santiago Gonzales; aunt Annie Castaneda, aunt Clara Espinosa , cousin Michael Espinosa, cousin Gerald Espinosa, great nephew Noah Anthony Martinez. 

He is survived by, his sons Daniel ray roybal and Josiah Robert roybal ; mom Amelia Roybal; brothers and sister, Henry P. (Marlene), and Phillip; nephews and nieces, Amber, Alyssa (his best friend) Isaiah & Justin , and Henry P. Roybal Jr. , Dakota , Joshua, J’lee Roybal. and a vast amount of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. 

Daniel will always hold a special place in all of our hearts and will be missed as he leaves a void that cannot be filled.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 10:00 am at Zion church in Pojoaque with burial to follow at the El Rancho Assembly of God.
