Daniel Pedro

Daniel James Pedro, passed away on January 23, 2023, unexpectedly at the young age of 51. Daniel had a heart larger than life. He was a true friend to many, a father, who adored his children, a loving grandpa, and a loving husband to his soulmate. He looked forward to spending his days spoiling his grandchildren, Riley and Hannah. His love of comic books helped shape him through life, and he would eagerly share that world with all of those around him. He was always there for his friends and family with just the right thing to say in their time of need.  Daniel "aka Superman" lived larger than life. His crazy antics, humor, kindness, and love will always be treasured. His memories shared with all will forever keep his spirit in our hearts. Daniel would love those attending services to represent their favorite comic book, superhero in his memory.

Daniel was preceded in death by his mother Linda Pedro, his father Robert Pedro, and his beloved mother-in-law Joyce Steine.  

Daniel is survived by his wife Lynn of 22 years, his daughter and son-in-law Courtney and Andrew Cuellar, his two granddaughters (Riley and Hannah), his children James and Caitlin, his brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, and his numerous dear friends, and other relatives.  

Memorial Services will be at 1:00 pm at the DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM, on February 3, 2023, followed by further service, tributes, and commemorations at our home in Chimayo. Burial will take place on a later date

Special thanks to Ray, Kristle, and Kristi Hardage-Valles, our daughter Courtney Cuellar, Prairie Rose, Glenn Pedro, Isaiah Lopez, Damien Deherrera, Plajetas Martinez, Donnie, Shawn and to all our friends and family that have reached out to us with love, support, and a meal.
