Corine Trujillo

Corine Trujillo, 66, resident of Espanola, formally of Truchas, NM, joined our Lord and Savior on January 10, 2023, after battling a lengthy illness.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Andreita Panas, father Jose Melecio Panas, brother Eugene Panas, god-son Ignacio Sanchez, god-mother Proni Padilla Coral, and in-laws Gilbert and James Trujillo, Gloria Martinez, Patrick Chavez Sr. and Griselda Chavez.

Corine was a very kind-hearted, loving and spiritual person. She lived a very fulfilled and blessed life. Her family was her pride and joy. She loved them all very much and enjoyed spending time with them. That was her favorite thing to do.

She is survived by her loving husband Pete Trujillo, children, whom she loved very much, Bryan and Sheri Trujillo (Jerry). Grand-daughter RaeLynn Chavez (Thomas), great-grand-daughter Aubree Martinez. Brothers, Michael, William, Ralph, Charlie (Dolores), Jacob (Suzanne) Panas. Sisters, Vivian Trujillo (Arnold), Lucille Sanchez (Felimon), and Irene Montoya (Jeff). In-laws, Adelina, Acorcinio (Stephanie), Fred, Arnold, Concha, and Gloria Trujillo and Bridget Salazar. Numerous nieces and nephews as well as other family members and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Arnold, Fred, Daniel Trujillo, Jacob Panas, and Thomas and Jerry Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be RaeLynn Chavez, Aubree Martinez, Concha and Paul Trujillo.

We would like to thank Ambercare Hospice for their service. Also, thank you to her nurse Mariah, for being so kind to Corine.

A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory at 10:30 a.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel. Burial will follow at Los Llanitos Cemetery.
